And this is how Freija describes Sprengja: “As a young horse, every
step of the way, Sprengja already showed her very special potential
in all the different gaits.
However, at the beginning she was very shy and tried to avoid all
human contact.

When Uli then trusted me to work with her, I first had to get her
“warmed up” to people. She really learned a lot, though, and fast
at that! Building trust and gaining her attention also turned out
to be rather effortless. After seeming so timid at first about more or
less everything around her – when I first climbed into the saddle,
all fear had disappeared and we both found a lot of trust in one
another.
